About Cedar Wood
Cedar wood is lightweight and resistant to both cracking and moisture rot. The oils of this resilient wood guard against insect attack and decay, and their distinctive aroma acts as a mild insect repellant. Cedar is a dependable choice for outdoor furniture, either as a finished or unfinished wood. Over time, unfinished cedar left outdoors will weather to a silvery gray patina. This natural process does not compromise the strength or integrity of the wood.
Another great aspect of cedar is its environmental effect - which is minimal. A renewable resource, cedar wood emits low greenhouse gases. So rest assured knowing that your beautiful cedar product is a green choice, too!

We painted the upright pieces white and stained the treads. What a great look. I have had several compliments on the look. It did not work where I had originally planned to place it but it worked perfectly outside the front door from the walkway accross the flower bed. This bridge was the finishing touch and really pulled together the entire front flower beds. Easy to assemble and all the pieces fit together perfectly. I would recommend this item but it was smaller than I pictured and would suggest that the picture show a small animal or child to put it in perspective.

This was a Christmas present so we just put it together. The assembly was easy. But there are cracks in two of the posts and we are not positive it is cedar so we applied waterproofing. It is the right design so we will keep it but I would not reccommend it to others.

The assembly was easy except for putting the 90 screws in place, but overall the bridge looked great when finished.
