I bought this bridge to put in my garden and allow my 3 yr old grandchildren to enjoy it. It makes a beautiful addition to the garden. I love it and so do the grandkids as they pretend to be fishing from the sides. More direction on building it would have been helpful, for this I give it a 4 star. When building the sides you are not told the railings have a right and wrong way. We found this out as we put them on randomly just to find out it did not align with the next step. My husband figured it out, that would have saved time. Also the slats for the floor are too tight and we opted to leave 1 board out on each side and equally space them. We are glad we did that anyway to allow rain to run off better and allow expanding. Over all I love it and would recommend.

2. The incorrect stickers were on the wrong pieces, and the diagram illustrated features that were not there, such as rabbets in the post to accomodate the steep footplates.
C. Pre-drilled holes were mere suggestions, not through the piece (see "splintered", above
D. "Alignment" of holes should have been called "approximation".
E. Hardware was of inferior grade. Washers were corroded, bolts snapped and many of the screws had too-shallow Philips grooves for the driver to gain purchase.
Were it not for my past experience as a journeyman carpenter, this would have been given up as a lost cause were it not a gift from my lady. As it was, all holes had to be drilled out and aligned, and the hardware replaced.

Holes did not line up properly, making it difficult to put together. Had to drill new holes in the metal plates. Once together.....which took me about three hours, the bridge looks great.

Unit was shipped promptly and as agreed.
Easily assembled with minimum of tools. Did require redrilling
some predrilled holes. Bridge is sturdy and attractivly
designed.It makes a nice addition to our flower garden.

Very attractive and sturdy. Took 2 hours to fully assemble but did myself and without a helper as recommended. No worries. Perfect for what I needed.

This bridge is absolutely perfect for what we needed it for. We have a rock river running through our backyard so we use the bridge to get the lawnmower over the rocks. It was easy to assemble, it's decorative as well as useful. We love it and it looks great in our yard!!

A very nice looking bridge. Putting it together is another story. It took me approximately 2.5 hours to assemble the bridge. Some holes had to be redrilled to allow the screws to line up with the medal plate on the other side of the bottom brace. There was no written instructions on how to fit the handrail pieces into the posts....only a picture which was in-adequate....trial and at that point. Otherwise, the final product was worth it.
